5 fantastic ways to entertain guests on your wedding day

From the preparations to the ceremony you have thought of everything for your special day. Everything has been planned and studied down to the smallest detail, congratulations!

Weddings are one of those events where very few things can be left to chance if you want to have the "perfect day". And if up until the more relaxed moment of the celebrations everything went perfectly, hats off to you.

But between saying "I want it" and the cutting of the cake, there is still a lot of time to fill! Sitting at a table all night is nobody's idea of a good time, so you'll definitely want to keep the event "interesting," especially during those breaks between formalities.

After all, these are moments in which your guests will have the opportunity to reflect on the quality of the day also from their point of view, not giving us the right weight would be like neglecting them.

To help you, we've listed 5 ways to avoid embarrassing gaps and keep your guests entertained throughout the wedding.

1. Fun with photos and videos

Photos remain a must at weddings and are naturally at the top of our list.

The photo booth trend is something alternative, which often works and is fun! Of course you can also opt for something more "Modern Classic" with a corner with a photographic set, photographers and possibly make-up artists, beautiful lights and off you go!

Gather unique props for guests to pose with and you'll have a source of entertainment that's also a great way to capture fun memories of the day.

The video booths, then, are a modern version of the classic photo booth and super shareable on social media! In addition to the classic "tape" photo strips, wouldn't it be nice to see your wedding guests deliver a heartfelt message or a performance, perhaps fueled by champagne, of off-key karaoke or fun group dancing? They will have as much fun recording these moments as watching them again.

2. Snack & Stations dessert

The snack and dessert stations offer a “Do It Yourself” component, offering a delightfully interactive experience for guests. Witness their joy as they customize the delicacies to their liking: anything from a cup of ice cream with sprinkles, whipped cream and many other ingredients for a rich topping, to options on savory (and maybe healthier!) snacks.

But don't worry: these stations for making your own desserts or snacks don't have to replace cake! These delicious treats may just help guests keep their stomachs full after a few hours of dancing. (Because calories don't count at weddings, right?)

3. Live entertainment

If you've ever been to a wedding with alive band, you know how the "live" it can electrify the atmosphereand energize the entire room. Nowadays, there are so many options for creative wedding shows!

The sky is the limit here: dance duels, Cirque du Soleil-style performers, ethnic dance groups, portrait artists for funny caricatures and even flash mobs will amaze your guests and get them talking about your big day for the years to come.

4. Outdoor games

Lawn games are the perfect addition to any wedding with an outdoor space. From a simple foosball table to something as innovative as a giant jenga, there are so many ways to encourage guests to have fun at your party!

You can also personalize your games with the date of your wedding or other themed details to make everything more special.

5 Activities for children

If your wedding reception is also suitable for children, busy parents will appreciate the child-friendly activities. With a very low cost you can buy coloring books, crayons and small toys such as yo-yos and soap bubbles which can also act as "favors for the little ones".

For slightly older children, why not take things up a notch? You can hire someone to take care of making them play, perhaps organizing a treasure hunt. Or rent an inflatable house and see how they enjoy jumping for hours while remaining inside a safe space.
